Greenland has very cold winters and slightly less cold summers. Clothing should include warm shirts, warm pants, large socks and warm winter gear, this goes for all year round everywhere in the country. In the north it rarley rains and when it does it almost immediately turns to ice.  In the south percipitation is more common but still usually changes to ice.
